Ann-Maree Sweeney from Transparent Counselling is a registered supervisor and member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) College of Supervisors.
Her training in the evidence-based RISE-UP model of supervision, plus her three decades of experience as a frontline healthcare worker, enables her to provide supervision to a wide range of professionals. Ann-Maree has over 1000 hours of supervision practice, working with organisations as both an individual and group supervisor.
Regular clinical supervision is an essential part of effective mental health service delivery and a mandated requirement for all registered counsellors and social workers in Australia.
All healthcare professionals are recommended by their industry body to enter into regular supervision. Other frontline workers such as police officers can also benefit from discussing workplace or professional issues in a safe and confidential environment.
Transparent Counselling offers convenient and affordable phone and online counselling sessions for clients aged 18+ located around Australia.
Apart from our specialist LGBTIQ and drug and alcohol counselling services, we also assist clients with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, grief and trauma.
Our Principal Counsellor Ann-Maree Sweeney is experienced in CBT, psychodynamic, trauma-informed counselling, as well as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her holistic and genuine method of practice is tailor-made to each client’s needs, priorities and goals.
